Department of Building Safety
The Building Department's purpose is to protect the public health, safety, and welfare in all new and existing residential and commercial structures, and on all existing premises by enforcing minimum code requirements.
The City of Heyburn has adopted the 2018 version of the International Code Council (ICC) building codes for residential and commercial construction.
All permit applications will be placed in the que in the order they are received. Review timelines assume that the plan, detail, and submittal package is complete and accurate. Incomplete submittals will be pulled from the que and will not be resubmitted for review until such time accurate submittal requirements have been received.
