June 25, 2008

7:00 P.M.

Council Present:

Cleo Gallegos, Dee Ray Bailey, Rocky Baker and Leann Smith.

Employees Present: Linda Dayley, Scott Spevak and Steve Tuft.

Visitors Present: George Warrell, Rob Ramsey Tami Ursenbach, Richard Wood Marrianne Wadsworth, Bill and Norma Morrison.

Meeting conducted by Mayor George A. Anderson.

Pledge of Allegiance led by Mayor George A. Anderson.

Amend agenda to include an Executive Session for Personnel.

Approve Minutes of the Council Meeting on June 11, 2008.

Motion by Cleo Gallegos to approve the minutes for the Council Meeting on June 11, 2008 as written. Second by Rocky Baker. Vote: Cleo Gallegos - Aye; Dee Ray Bailey - Aye; Rocky Baker - Aye; Leann Smith - Aye.

Approve paying the Bills.

Motion by Dee Ray Bailey to approve paying the bills as written. Second by Leann Smith. Vote: Cleo Gallegos - Aye; Dee Ray Bailey - Aye; Rocky Baker - Aye; Leann Smith - Aye.

Update on the Heyburn School - Rose and George Warrell.

George Warrell discussed the old Heyburn Elementary School with the Mayor and Council. This item will be put back on the next agenda.

Mayor Time.

Information presentation - Marianne Wadsworth from Mountain West Realty.

With the direction from Attorney Steve Tuft this item was tabled.

Discussion about the meeting on Urban Renewal. Councilwoman Leann Smith suggested asking Donna Meade to update the Mayor and Council about the meeting. This will be on the next agenda.

Budget Workshop.

Budget workshop discussion.

Motion by Leann Smith to retain utility fee amounts in the utility departments but to keep the paper work tracking for rate studies. Second by Dee Ray Bailey. Vote: Cleo Gallegos - Aye; Dee Ray Bailey - Aye; Rocky Baker - Aye; Leann Smith - Aye.

Executive Session for Personnel as Authorized by Idaho Code Section 67-2345.

Motion by Leann Smith for an Executive Session for Personnel as authorized by Idaho Code Section 67-2345. Second by Dee Ray Bailey. Roll Call Vote: Cleo Gallegos - Aye; Dee Ray Bailey - Aye; Rocky Baker - Aye; Leann Smith - Aye.

Council Meeting adjourned to Executive Session at 7:42 p.m.

The executive session commenced at 7:45 p.m. and ended at 9:20 p.m. The executive session consisted of a discussion of personnel matters. No decisions were made.
