 City of Heyburn Special Council Meeting Minutes

August 8, 2011

5:30 P.M.

Council Present:

Cleo Gallegos, Rocky Baker, Leann Smith and Joanne Justesen.

Employees Present:

Deborah Hopkins and Dan Bristol. 

Visitors Present: 

None.

Meeting conducted by Mayor George A. Anderson.    

Budget Work Session

Those attending worked on the 2011-2012 budget. 

Motion by Leann Smith to go into Executive Session for matters of personnel as authorized by Idaho Code Section 67-2345 and to then return to the regular council meeting.  Second by Joanne Justesen.  Roll Call Vote:  Cleo Gallegos - Aye; Leann Smith - Aye; Rocky Baker - Aye; Joanne Justesen - Aye.

Executive Session Minutes.

Council Present:

Cleo Gallegos, Rocky Baker, Leann Smith, and Joanne Justesen.

Employees Present:

None.

Guests Present:

None. 

Meeting conducted by Mayor Anderson. The topic was a matter of personnel.  This matter was discussed with the mayor and council members.  Executive Session began at 5:45 PM and concluded at 6:23 PM.  No decisions were made. 

The regular council meeting resumed at 6:23 PM. 

Motion by Leann Smith to adopt the salary schedule as submitted effective October 1, 2011.  Second by Joanne Justesen.  Vote:  Cleo Gallegos - Aye; Leann Smith - Aye; Rocky Baker - Aye; Joanne Justesen - Aye.

The council meeting ended at 7:15 PM.
