Meeting conducted by Mayor George A. Anderson who welcomed everyone to the meeting and then led those present in the Pledge of Allegiance.

Russ Taylor from Minidoka School District Food Service asked the city council members to waive the fees for the use of Central Park June 1, 2015 through August 14, 2015 from 11:30 AM through 12:30 PM Mondays through Fridays for the Lunch in the Park summer program.
Motion by Cleo Gallegos to waive the fees for the Minidoka School District Food Service for the use of Central Park June 1, 2015 through August 14, 2015 from 11:30 AM through 12:30 PM Mondays through Fridays for the Lunch in Park summer program. After a brief discussion this item was tabled until the May 27, 2015 council meeting.
Discuss/Approve Notice for Conservation of Irrigation Water
Eric Christensen explained concerns of irrigation water conservation to those present. Mr. Christensen informed the council of the notice that will be given to city residents asking them to conserve by watering only once a week. The Mayor and Council thanked Eric Christensen for the update.
Discuss/Approve First Federal Bank Authorization Form
Mayor Anderson asked for a temporary additional signer to the First Federal Bank account.
Motion by Dusty Galliher to approve the temporary addition of Rosemary Crawford and Rhonda Kluzik as signers to the First Federal Bank account. Second by Cleo Gallegos. Vote: Rocky Baker – Aye; Cleo Gallegos – Aye; Dick Galbraith – Aye; Dusty Galliher – Aye.
Discuss/Approve Project Mutual Telephone Service Contract
Motion by Dick Galbraith to approve Project Mutual Telephone Service Contract and authorize the Mayors signature. Second by Rocky Baker. Vote: Rocky Baker – Aye; Cleo Gallegos – Aye; Dick Galbraith – Aye; Dusty Galliher – Aye.
Discuss/Approve Letter of Support to the Minidoka County Fire Protection District.
City Superintendent Greg Richins explained the letter of support to the Minidoka Fire Protection District for the funding from the Idaho EMS Bureau for a new EMS Light Rescue 4x4 vehicle.
Councilman Rocky Baker stated that he would like to abstain from the Minidoka Fire Protection District voting because he is a commissioner of the Minidoka County Fire Protection District and would create a conflict of interest.
Motion by Dick Galbraith to approve the letter of support to the Minidoka County Fire Protection District for funding for a new EMS Light Rescue 4x4 vehicle. Second by Cleo Gallegos. Vote: Rocky Baker – Abstain; Cleo Gallegos – Aye; Dick Galbraith – Aye; Dusty Galliher – Aye.
Discuss/Approve Letter of Support to the Minidoka Memorial Hospital.
City Superintendent Greg Richins explained the letter of support to the Minidoka Memorial Hospital for the funding from the Idaho EMS Bureau for a new ambulance.

The Executive Session was conducted by Mayor George A. Anderson. The topic was a matter of litigation and personnel which was discussed with those present. No decisions were made. The Executive Session began at 8:30 PM and concluded at 8:50 PM.
The council meeting did not return to open session and adjourned at 8:50 PM.
