July 28, 2015 Special Council Meeting Minutes

Council Present:

Rocky Baker, Dusty Galliher and Cleo Gallegos.

Dick Galbraith – Abstained from the meeting as he is on the Minidoka County Planning & Zoning Board and presented a conflict of interest.

Employees Present:

Greg Richins, Dan Bristol and Ashlee Langley. Deborah F. Hopkins – excused.

Visitors Present:

Rose Schmitt, Joanne Justesen, Eric Quitugua and Tony Morley.

Meeting conducted by Mayor George Anderson who welcomed everyone to the meeting and then led those present in the Pledge of Allegiance.      

Executive Session as per Idaho Code 74-206 (a) Personnel

Motion by Rocky Baker to go into Executive Session as per Idaho Code 74-206 (a) Personnel. Second by Dusty Galliher. Roll Call Vote: Rocky Baker – Aye; Cleo Gallegos – Aye; Dusty Galliher - Aye.

Tony Morley joined the meeting at 6:43 PM.

The Executive Session was conducted by Mayor George A. Anderson. The topic was a matter of personnel discussed with those present. No decisions were made. The Executive Session began at 6:30 PM and concluded at 7:25 PM.

The council meeting returned to open session at 7:25 PM.

Discuss Joint Powers Agreement Establishing Building Inspection Program – Tony Morley

Those present reviewed the current Joint Powers Agreement Establishing Building Inspection Program and made suggestions for improvements.

Budget Work Session

Those present worked on the 2015-16 budget.

The meeting ended at 7:50 PM.
