City of Heyburn Council Special Meeting Minutes

June 14, 2010

8:00 P.M.

Council Present:

Cleo Gallegos, Rocky Baker, Leann Smith, and Joanne Justesen.

Employees Present:

Deb Hopkins.  

Visitors Present:  

None. 

Meeting conducted by Mayor George A. Anderson. 

Mayor Anderson stated the reason for the emergency meeting was because the two vacancies need to be filled immediately otherwise the City could suffer economic and other possible harm and the matter needs to be resolved before the next council meeting.  

Discuss/Approve Hiring of Ashlee Talbot and Dee Ann South for the Deputy City Clerk Vacancies

Motion by Joanne Justesen to approve hiring Ashlee Talbot and Dee Ann South as Deputy City Clerks at $9.00 per hour beginning June 15, 2010.  Second by Cleo Gallegos.  Vote:  Cleo Gallegos - Aye; Rocky Baker - Aye; Leann Smith - Aye; Joanne Justesen - Aye. 

The council meeting ended at 8:15 p.m.
