City of Heyburn Special Council Meeting Minutes

August 10, 2010

7:00 P.M.

Council Present:

Cleo Gallegos, Rocky Baker, Leann Smith, and Joanne Justesen.

Employees Present:

Deb Hopkins, Steven Tuft, Scott Spevak, and Dan Bristol.  

Visitors Present:   

Mike Devers, Crystal Justesen, and Jeremiah Justesen.

Meeting conducted by Mayor George A. Anderson.  Mayor Anderson welcomed everyone to the meeting. 

Executive Session for Matters of Personnel as authorized by Idaho Code Section 67-2345. 

Motion by Cleo Gallegos to go into Executive Session for Matters of Personnel as per Idaho Code Section 67-2345.  Second by Leann Smith.  Roll Call Vote:  Cleo Gallegos - Aye; Joanne Justesen - Aye; Rocky Baker - Aye; Leann Smith - Aye.

Executive Session Minutes.

Council Present:

Cleo Gallegos, Leann Smith, Rocky Baker and Joanne Justesen. 

Employees Present:

Steven Tuft.

Meeting conducted by Mayor Anderson. The topic was personnel.  These matters were discussed with City Attorney Steven Tuft.  Executive Session began at 7:02 PM and concluded at 8:02 PM.

No decisions were made.  

Regular council session resumed at 8:02 PM. 

Mayor Anderson and led those in attendance in the Pledge of Allegiance.

Budget Work Session

City council members and staff reviewed tentative budget items for the 2010-11 fiscal year.  

The council meeting ended at 10:25 PM.
