CITY OF HEYBURN SPECIAL COUNCIL MEETING MINUTES

November 07, 2007

4:30 P. M.

Council Present:

Cleo Gallegos, Dee Ray Bailey, Rocky Baker and Leann Smith.

Employees Present:

Linda Dayley, David Roundy, George Warrell III, and Deb Hopkins.

Visitors Present:  None.

Meeting conducted by Mayor George A. Anderson.

Canvass the Votes of the November 6, 2007 City Election, Water Bond Election and Accept the Tally.

City Clerk Linda Dayley gave Cleo Gallegos and Rocky Baker a tally book and Leann Smith and Dee Ray Bailey the other tally book and asked them to recount the marks and check the totals.

Totals were:

Motion by Dee Ray Bailey to accept the tally books and canvass the votes. Second by Leann Smith. Roll Call Vote: Cleo Gallegos - Aye; Rocky Baker - Aye; Leann Smith - Aye; Dee Ray Bailey - Aye.

Approve Resolution No. 2007-10.

A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF HEYBURN, MINIDOKA COUNTY, IDAHO, CANVASSING THE RETURNS AND DECLARING THE RESULTS OF THE SPECIAL REVENUE BOND ELECTION HELD ON NOVEMBER 6, 2007, FOR THE PURPOSE OF SUBMITTING TO THE QUALIFIED ELECTORS OF THE CITY THE QUESTION OF THE ISSUANCE OF WATER REVENUE BONDS OF THE CITY IN AN AMOUNT NOT TO EXCEED $3,000,000; AND PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE.

Motion by Rocky Baker to approve Resolution No. 2007-10. Second by Dee Ray Bailey. Roll Call Vote: Cleo Gallegos - Aye; Rocky Baker - Aye; Leann Smith - Aye; Dee Ray Bailey - Aye.
