Planning & Zoning Commission Minutes

September 08, 2016

7:00 P.M.

Guests Present:  Paul Aston, Dalles Duffin, Leann Smith, Brenda Cottom, and Rodney Cottom

The Planning & Zoning Meeting was called to order at 7:01 p.m. and a declaration of a quorum present by Chairman Russ Smith.

Attendance:

Chairman Russ Smith, Juanita Teeter, Scot Bell, Planning & Zoning Administrator Tony Morley, and Recording Secretary Rhonda Kluzik. Maureen Newton and Tony Luna – Excused.

Declaration of Conflict of Interest:

No conflict of interest.

Approval of Minutes:

A motion was made by Scot Bell and seconded by Juanita Teeter to approve the minutes of the August 25, 2016 Planning and Zoning meeting. Motion carried unanimously.

Public Hearing – Application for Subdivision  – Application submitted by B.E. Smith Investments, for the intended purpose of creating a 4 lot residential Subdivision.  The property is located on the 1900 Block of I Street.

Chairman Russ Smith opened the public hearing.

Those speaking in favor of the Special Use Permit were: None.

Those speaking against the Special Use Permit were: None.

Those speaking neither against nor in favor of the Special Use Permit were: None.

A motion was made by Scot Bell to approve the Application submitted by Brent Smith and Dallas Duffin for the intended purpose of creating a 4 lot residential Subdivision.  The property is located on the 1900 Block of I Street.

With the conditions:

No recommendations.

Seconded by Juanita Teeter. Motion carried unanimously.
