Discuss/Approve Participation in Operation Facelift 2016
Mayor Cleo Gallegos suggested participating in Operation Facelift 2016 and painting the small white building located at The Springs Calvary Chapel as an option for the project. Dates for this project are scheduled for June 3rd and 4th 2016.

Discuss/Approve Donation to Magic Valley Folk Festival – Amy Young
Amy Young representing the Magic Valley Folk Festival asked the council to donate again this year in supportofthe festival.
Motion by Dusty Galliher to donate $250.00 to the Magic Valley Folk Festival. Second by Rocky Baker. Roll-Call Vote: Rocky Baker – Aye; Dick Galbraith – Aye; Dusty Galliher - Aye; Joanne Justesen – Aye.
Discuss/Possibly Approve Purchasing Tractor Mower
Street Department Manager Anson Parke presented bids on purchasing a Tractor Mower for the Street Department.
Motion by Dusty Galliher to purchase a John Deere Tractor Mower from Christiansen Implement of Burley in the amount of $36,987.56 as well as a Mower Deck in the amount of $2,500.00 or less for the Street Department. Second by Dick Galbraith. Roll-Call Vote: Rocky Baker – Aye; Dick Galbraith – Aye; Dusty Galliher - Aye; Joanne Justesen – Aye.
Discuss/Approve Purchase of New Patrol Replacement Vehicle – Dan Bristol
Police Chief Dan Bristol presented bids for the purchase of a New Patrol Replacement Vehicle for the Police Department.
Motion by Joanne Justesen to purchase a 2017 Ford Utility Interceptor AWD for the New Patrol Replacement Vehicle from Young Ford in the amount of $29,336.00 for the Police Department. Second by Rocky Baker. Roll-Call Vote: Rocky Baker – Aye; Dick Galbraith – Aye; Dusty Galliher - Aye; Joanne Justesen – Aye.
Public Hearing on the Proposed Vacation of a Portion of 12th Street
Planning and Zoning Administrator Tony Morley presented information regarding the Vacation of a Portion of 12th Street submitted by Riverbend Business & Storage to those present.
Riverbend Business & Storage owner Justin Koyle provided information to the City Council on the planned development of his property.
Cleo Gallegos opened the public hearing.
Those speaking in favor of the Vacation of a Portion of 12th Street were: None.
Those speaking against the Vacation of a Portion of 12th Street were: None.
Those speaking neither against nor in favor of the Vacation of a Portion of 12th Street were: Maureen Newton, Davis Vansant, and Heather Petersen.
Mayor Gallegos invited Street Department Manager Anson Parke to comment on the Vacation of 12th Street. Mr. Parke seen no problem with the vacation.
Wastewater Department Manager Ralph Martini suggested having a survey done on the property to insure nothing was going to be built over existing lines.
Hearing no further comments, Mayor Cleo Gallegos closed the public hearing.
Discuss/Approve Proposed Vacation of a Portion of 12th Street
After discussion, this item was tabled.
Discuss/Ratify Signature on the 21st Street Utility Agreement Change Order #1
City Superintendent Greg Richins presented the 21st Street Utility Agreement Change Order #1. Mr. Richins explained that this Change Order was for CenturyLink to relocate utilities. The City will be reimbursed for the full amount of payment in the amount of $3,820.00.
Motion by Rocky Baker to ratify the signing on 21st Street Change Order #1 and the payment issued in the amount of $3,820.00 to CenturyLink with the understanding that the City will receive full reimbursement of the payment. Second by Dusty Galliher. Roll-Call Vote: Rocky Baker – Aye; Dick Galbraith – Aye; Dusty Galliher - Aye; Joanne Justesen – Aye.
Discuss/Approve Letter of Support to the EMS Grant Fund for Minidoka Memorial Hospital
City Superintendent Greg Richins explained the letter of support to the Minidoka Memorial Hospital for the funding from the Idaho EMS Bureau for a new ambulance.
Motion by Joanne Justesen to approve sending a Letter of Support to the EMS Grant Fund for Minidoka Memorial Hospital. Second by Dick Galbraith. Roll-Call Vote: Rocky Baker – Aye; Dick Galbraith – Aye; Dusty Galliher - Aye; Joanne Justesen – Aye.
