 City of Heyburn Special Council Minutes

April 6, 2009

7:00 P.M.

Council Present:

Cleo Gallegos, Rocky Baker, Leann Smith, Dee and Ray Bailey.

Employees Present:

Scott Spevak. Steve Tuft and Linda Dayley excused.

Visitors Present:  Stan Zielinski, Larry King and Ralph Williams.

Meeting conducted by Mayor Anderson.

Pledge of Allegiance led by Mayor Anderson.

Discuss the Baseball Concession Stand - Scott Spevak.

City Superintendent informed the Mayor and Council that the Baseball Concession Stand needs some extensive repair in the amount of approximately three to four thousand to fix the roof.

After discussion this item was tabled and will be on the next council meeting.

Discuss Tier 2 with Load Forecast - Larry King.

Larry King discussed tiered rates with the load forecast with Bonneville Power. Larry gave the Mayor and Council handouts for the presentation.

Executive Session for Matters of Commerce as Authorized by Idaho Code Section 67-2345.

Motion by Rocky Baker for an Executive Session for Matters of Commerce  as authorized by Idaho Code Section 67-2345. Second Dee Ray Bailey. Roll Call Vote: Cleo Gallegos - Aye; Rocky Baker - Aye; Leann Smith - Aye.

Council Meeting adjourned at 8:25 P.M.

The executive session commenced at 8:25 P.M. and ended at 8:35 P.M. The executive session consisted of a discussion of Personnel issues. No decisions were made.
