May 31, 2017 Special Council Meeting Minutes

Mayor: Mayor Cleo Gallegos.

Council Present: Chad Anderson, Dick Galbraith, Dusty Galliher, and Joanne Justesen.

Employees Present:

Michael Tribe, Eric Christensen, Ralph Martini, and Ashlee Langley.

Visitors Present:

Meeting conducted by Mayor Cleo Gallegos who welcomed everyone to the meeting.

Mayor Gallegos asked Councilman Dusty Galliher to lead those present in the Pledge of Allegiance.

Mayor Cleo Gallegos asked for a motion to amend the agenda to include: update on potential road repair, the reason is that this is a time-sensitive matter that may need action taken before the succeeding council meeting.

Motion by Dick Galbraith to amend the agenda to include: update on potential road repair, the reason is that this is a time-sensitive matter that may need action taken before the succeeding council meeting. Second by Joanne Justesen. Roll-Call Vote:   Chad Anderson – Aye; Dick Galbraith – Aye; Dusty Galliher – Aye; Joanne Justesen – Aye.

Discuss/Approve Wastewater Cost of Service Study

Motion by Dusty Galliher to approve hiring Zions Bank to perform a Wastewater Cost of Service Study in the amount of $6,935.00 and a Culinary and Irrigation Cost of Service Study in the amount of $9,040.00 and to include the optional Culinary, Irrigation, and Wastewater Impact Study in the amount of $13,015.00. Second by Joanne Justesen. Roll-Call Vote:   Chad Anderson – Aye; Dick Galbraith – Aye; Dusty Galliher – Aye; Joanne Justesen – Aye.

Update on possible road repair

Eric Christensen updated the council on a possible road repair on Villa Drive. Mr. Christensen informed the council that he will continue to monitor the situation closely and keep them informed as things move forward.  

Those present thanked Mr. Christensen for the update.

The special council meeting ended at 6:28 PM.
